1. What DiasporaGifts is

DiasporaGifts (“we”, “us”) operates diasporagifts.mk, a platform connecting members of the Macedonian diaspora abroad with independent local vendors (florists, bakeries, gift shops and similar businesses) in Macedonia, so they can order and send gifts for delivery to friends and family in Macedonia.

We are a marketplace, not the seller of the products themselves. Each product is prepared and fulfilled by the independent vendor listed on its page. By placing an order, you are entering into a purchase with that vendor; we facilitate the payment, coordination, and delivery tracking.

2. Accounts

You need an account to place an order or apply as a vendor. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate contact and delivery information — we and our vendors rely on it to fulfil your order correctly.

3. Orders and payment

Prices shown at checkout are final and include our platform fee on top of what the vendor charges. Payment is processed securely through PayPal; we never see or store your card details. An order is confirmed once payment is successfully captured.

Delivery dates are estimates coordinated with the vendor. Vendors are expected to confirm and update order status promptly, but delivery timing can be affected by factors outside our control (weather, recipient availability, courier delays).

4. Our delivery guarantee

If a gift you ordered is not delivered to the recipient as arranged, contact us at support@diasporagifts.mk and we will investigate with the vendor and issue a full refund if the order genuinely was not delivered. This guarantee covers non-delivery — it does not cover buyer's remorse or a change of mind after an order has already been prepared or delivered.

5. Cancellations

You may request to cancel or change an order by contacting us as soon as possible. We can only cancel or modify orders that the vendor has not yet started preparing — once a vendor has accepted and begun preparing an order, it generally cannot be cancelled.

6. Vendors

Vendors listed on DiasporaGifts are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. We review vendor applications and products before they go live, but we do not control the day-to-day preparation or delivery of any individual order. Vendors are responsible for the accuracy of their product listings and for fulfilling accepted orders.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or to send fraudulent or abusive orders.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts.
• Submit false information when registering as a vendor or placing an order.

8. Liability

We provide the platform on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the platform evolves. Continued use of DiasporaGifts after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
